wasnt to fond of artichoke until I tried this, got the recipe from Eating Thin for Life
I normally double this so I can use the whole pack of soup mix

tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
2 1/4 c
chicken broth
2 Tbsp
dry onion soup mix, about half an envalope
2 Tbsp
tomato paste
14 oz
artichoke hearts, canned
1/2 c
black olives, sliced
1/4 tsp
allspice, ground
1/4 tsp

How to Make Middle East Chicken


  • 1cut chicken into pieces, spray large fry pan with cooking spray, add chicken and saute over medium-high heat till brown
  • 2stir in tomatoes, broth, soup mix and tomato paste. bring to a biol, reduce to low and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes
  • 3add rest of ingredients and simmer for another 5 minutes
  • 4nutrition count: calories 238, fat 6 g, protein 32 g, carbs 15 g
