  • 1/3 cup cored, chopped apple
  • 1 large hard-boiled egg, peeled, finely chopped.
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 - slices whole wheat bread
  • 4 large lettuce leaves

How To Make low-fat chicken & apple salad sandwiches

  • Step 1
    In medium bowl, stir together chicken, apple, and egg. Add yogurt and mayonnaise. Stir to combine. season w/ salt & pepper. At this point, you can either refrigerater fro 30 min, or spread chicken mix onto slices of bread, top w/ lettuce and then top w/ bread.
