Tender pieces of chicken in a honey-mustard sauce, and it's low-calorie!! Calories: 199.6 Fat: 4.9 grams. Carbs 16 grams. I usually serve w/ a nice big salad!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 large
    onion, sliced
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    organic honey
  • 1/4 c
    dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    coarse-grain mustard
  • 2 tsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper
  • 2
    sliced green onions

How to Make Low-cal slow-cooker honey-mustard chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray a 4-quart slow-cooker w/ olive oil cooking spray. Place chicken in bottom of cooker.
  2. In lg bowl, mix all other ingredients along w/ 1/2 cup water. Leave green onions for garnish.
  3. Cover, cook on low for 7 hrs, stirring occasionally. Garnish w/ green onions.
