I absolutely love lime, You need to marinate them a day ahead but boy they are worth the extra effort. This recipe calls for you to broil them but I like to cook them in my deep fryer. yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmy.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 large limes,juiced
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, trimmed,seeded,and sliced
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 4 cloves garlic,chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

How To Make lime marinated chicken wings

  • Step 1
For Marinade, finely grate the zest and the juice from the limes. In a blender, combine zest and juice with remaining marinade ingredients; puree until smooth. Pour marinade over the chicken and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 2
Preheat broiler. Arrange chicken on a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Broil at least 6 inches from the heat for 4 or 5 minutes per side or until chicken is crispy on the outside and cooked through. I use the deep fryer to do the chicken.
