My husband loves traditional stroganoff, but I don't like the heaviness of it! I created this and he no longer misses his old-fashioned favorite!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lean turkey or chicken
- 1/2 - onion, diced
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup plain, nonfat yogurt
How To Make lightened-up stroganoff

Step 1Brown chicken or turkey, onion & garlic in a large, nonstick pan. Drain well.

Step 2In same pan, saute mushrooms until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.

Step 3Return meat mixture to pan. Add worcestershire sauce and chicken broth and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 4Remove from heat and stir in yogurt. Serve over rice or egg noodles.
