kentucky fried cabbage
I love KFC Original Recipe Chicken and all the fixings, but I ran out of the fixings one day and decided to make a cabbage stir fry using the Original Recipe Chicken to flavor the cabbage I had on hand and it came out great and it stretches out to make a meal for the whole family using just one piece of chicken. The flavor goes along way in this recipe and you can actually flavor a whole cabbage with just one piece of the Colonel Sanders Chicken. Make some buttermilk biscuits and some mashed potatoes and you have a wonderful homemade version of the Meal with all the fixings just different

How To Make kentucky fried cabbage
-
Step 1Add shredded cabbage to a hot skillet with a dab of oil or butter or use just water and cook over medium heat until stir-fried and crispy or soft. Reduce heat and cover while cooking and you prepare the chicken.
-
Step 2Prepare the chicken so it looks like this.
-
Step 3Add the shredded piece of Colonel Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken and stir-fry until hot. *Tip I like to cook the cabbage until it gets a little brown or burnt on the edges for flavor.
-
Step 4Top with a sliced serrano pepper and serve with a side of mashed potatoes & gravy and a homemade buttermilk biscuit. Enjoy!
