Juicy tandoori chicken
1 clow-fat, plain yogurt, ( do not use greek yogurt.)
3 tspminced garlic
1 Tbspground ginger, or grated ginger
1 Tbspcurry powder
1/2 tspcayenne pepper
·salt & pepper to taste
8good sized chicken drumsticks
3scallions, sliced for garnish
How to Make Juicy tandoori chicken
- Spray a baking sheet w/ cooking spray. In lg plastic zip-lock bag, combine yogurt, garlic, ginger, paprika, curry powder, turmeric and cayenne pepper. Add salt & pepper to taste.
- Prick drumsticks all over w/ a fork. Add chicken to plastic bag. Seal, marinate 20 mins. Heat oven to 425. Remove chicken from marinade.
- Place chicken on baking sheet. Cook, turning once, for 35 mins or until juices run clear and chicken is cooked through. Top w/ scallions.
