Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    dry great northern beans
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    anaheim pepper
  • 1 ``
    onion
  • 3 c
    cooked chicken
  • 4 Tbsp
    southwest seasoning mix
  • 2 bottle
    salsa verde (16 oz each)

How to Make Joyce's White Chicken Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Soak beans overnight, cook for 2 hours, or until soft.
  2. Finely dice pepper, onion and chicken. Combine pepper, onion, chicken, seasoning mix, olive oil, garlic powder and salt in glass baking dish and microwave for 4 minutes. Stir, microcook for 4-6 minutes more.
  3. Add microwaved mixture to drained, cooked beans, add Salsa Verde, cook through.
