An easy kebab recipe. My daughter loves that they are sticky sweet! I serve these w/ rice pilaf.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 - red bell pepper, cut into 12 chunks
  • 1 - yellow bell pepper, cut into 12 chunks
  • 2 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 16 chunks
  • 4 large mushroom, cut in 1/2.
  • - wooden or metal skewers

How To Make honeyed chicken kebabs

  • Step 1
    If using wood skewers, soak in water for 15 mins. Spray grill grates w/ cooking spray or oil grates w/ canola oil. Heat grill to medium.
  • Step 2
    In bowl, combine hoisin sauce, honey, ginger and garlic. Whisk well. Alternately place red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, chicken and mushrooms on skewers. Brush w/ 1/2 of the sauce.
  • Step 3
    Place kebabs on grill. Grill about 10 min, turning occasioally, and basting w/ remaining sauce.
