honey lemon chicken
I often let this sit in the fridge for awhile and the lemon juice does not cook the chicken or affect it in my opinion. I have also done this with chicken breasts, cutlets and bone in chicken, just adjust your cooking time. This is a light tasting chicken. Also, for those of you following low carb diets, I often use sugar free honey, which I find at a local grocery store and also at Walmart. The recipe as is, is 10 g of carbs and has 11 grams of fat. I'm not sure where I orginally got this, but have been making it for years.

- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 - boneless,skinless chicken thighs
