How To Make homemade chicken nuggets
-
Step 1Start with breadcrumbs, corn flakes and seasonings (except garlic powder and half the salt) in a food processor and process until crumbs. Remove breadcrumbs from processor and place in a bowl to dip the chicken in.
-
Step 2Take the chicken thighs and put them in the food processor and run it until the chicken is a pasty ball. Add half a beaten egg, pinch salt, garlic powder and process again. Scrape out into a bowl.
-
Step 3Take the processed chicken and grab a little ball of it, and drop it in the crumbs, sprinkle breadcrumbs over top and mush down slightly, till its as thick as a regular nugget, flip and place on plate.
-
Step 4Heat oil in pan after all the nuggets are made on medium heat. Place the nuggets in pan and cook around 2 to 3 minutes each size depending on the size you make them.
-
Step 5Place nuggets on paper towel to drain any grease off of them and serve!
