We are a Family of 3 so most of our recipes are gonna be an uneven number. I try not to make a lot of left overs. However these are great for freezing!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup corn flakes
  • 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch seasoning salt
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 - egg
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 - boneless/skinless chicken thighs

How To Make homemade chicken nuggets

  • Step 1
Start with breadcrumbs, corn flakes and seasonings (except garlic powder and half the salt) in a food processor and process until crumbs. Remove breadcrumbs from processor and place in a bowl to dip the chicken in.
  • Step 2
Take the chicken thighs and put them in the food processor and run it until the chicken is a pasty ball. Add half a beaten egg, pinch salt, garlic powder and process again. Scrape out into a bowl.
  • Step 3
Take the processed chicken and grab a little ball of it, and drop it in the crumbs, sprinkle breadcrumbs over top and mush down slightly, till its as thick as a regular nugget, flip and place on plate.
  • Step 4
Heat oil in pan after all the nuggets are made on medium heat. Place the nuggets in pan and cook around 2 to 3 minutes each size depending on the size you make them.
  • Step 5
Place nuggets on paper towel to drain any grease off of them and serve!
