The lavender in the Herb de Provence is what I think makes this dish. I did not have the wine herb marinade that I like so I decided to create my own using this wonderful ingredient.

Ingredients

  • 4
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    herb de provence
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder with parsley
  • 2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How to Make Herb de Provence Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the olive oil, water, herb de provence, garlic powder w/ parsley, pepper and salt in a large zip lock bag. Add chicken, seal bag and shake to coat. Let marinade for 30 minutes.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until no longer pink. Also great on the grill!
