Healthy ziti and chicken
I liked this one a lot, so figured I'd share it.
Fat: 4.3 grams
Carbs: 47.5 grams.
1 lbwhole wheat ziti pasta.
12 ozcooked, chopped chicken breasts
1 Tbspdijon mustard
2 Tbspwhole wheat flour
2 creduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 clemon juice
110 oz pkg frozen peas & carrots, thawed
1/4 cfresh, chopped parsley.
1/8 tspsalt and pepper to taste.
How to Make Healthy ziti and chicken
- Cook pasta as direcetd, drain, keep warm. In lg skillet, warm butter over medium heat. Add onion. Cook until tender. Stir in mustard and flour. Gradually whisk in broth. Bring to a boil. Stir in lemon juice, peas and carrots, and parlsey. Toss pasta w/ chicken and sauce. heat hrough. season w/ salt & pepper.
