Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 large carrot, peeled, diced
  • 1 - celery stalk, diced
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
  • 1 - 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pound ronzoni healthy harvest bow-tie pasta

How To Make healthy chicken bolognese

  • Step 1
    In lg pot, over med-high heat, heat oil. Add chicken and brown for about 5 mins. Add carrot, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Cook 5 mins, stirring occasioanlly. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 mins, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    While sauce simmers, cook pasta as directed, drain. Serve sauce ladled over pasta.
