Ingredients

olive oil
1 lb
ground chicken
1 large
carrot, peeled, diced

celery stalk, diced

onion, chopped
2 tsp
minced garlic
1/2 tsp
each, salt and pepper

28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 Tbsp
sugar
2 tsp
dried basil
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 lb
ronzoni healthy harvest bow-tie pasta

How to Make Healthy chicken bolognese

Step-by-Step

  • 1In lg pot, over med-high heat, heat oil. Add chicken and brown for about 5 mins. Add carrot, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • 2Cook 5 mins, stirring occasioanlly. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 mins, stirring occasionally.
  • 3While sauce simmers, cook pasta as directed, drain. Serve sauce ladled over pasta.
