    olive oil
  • 1 lb
    ground chicken
  • 1 large
    carrot, peeled, diced
  • 1
    celery stalk, diced
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    each, salt and pepper
  • 1
    28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 lb
    ronzoni healthy harvest bow-tie pasta

How to Make Healthy chicken bolognese

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg pot, over med-high heat, heat oil. Add chicken and brown for about 5 mins. Add carrot, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Cook 5 mins, stirring occasioanlly. Add remaining ingredients, except pasta. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 mins, stirring occasionally.
  3. While sauce simmers, cook pasta as directed, drain. Serve sauce ladled over pasta.
