This marinade is probably my favorite of any of the Asian sauces my husband invented. Just so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 teaspoons pineapple juice
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 large chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, cut into 2" chunks
  • 1 - 20 ounces can pineapple chunks, drained, reserving 3 tbsp for marinade
  • 1 - pepper, green or red cut into 2" chunks

How To Make hawaiian chicken kabobs

  • Step 1
    In a ziplock, mix the first 9 ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Add the chicken & pineapple into the marinade. Mix until well coated. Let marinate in the fridge at least 2 hours.
  • Step 3
    Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Step 4
    Lightly oil the grill grate. Thread chicken, pineapple & peppers alternately onto skewers.
  • Step 5
    Grill 15-20 mins, turning occasionally, or until chicken juices run clear.
