Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen hash browns
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 cups grated sharp american cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
How To Make hashbrowns au gratin

Step 1Thaw Potatoes

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, add Thawed Potatoes, add salt, pepper, onion, and cheese. Mix together

Step 3Melt butter, add sour cream and soup. It will make a nice creamy mix.

Step 4Pour cream mix over potatoe mixture. Mix well. I find that it is much easier to mix using my hands than using a big spoon.

Step 5Put in a 3-quart buttered casserole dish

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
