How to Make Grind Chicken & Save Money
- Before grinding the meat, make sure all your equipment is well chilled (grinding plate, auger, bowl, feed screw and cross knife)
- Clean up the breasts by removing any tendons and fat.
- Slice chicken and then cube into 1-inch pieces. Lay them down in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and transfer to the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Remove chicken cubes from the freezer and grind the meat immediately. If you're not using it right away, place plastic film on top making sure it touches the surface of the meat.
