Grilling the pineapple caramelizes the sugars and makes it even sweeter. Sprinkling sesame seeds over the grilled chicken and pineapple make for a beautiful dish. Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 bottle
    teriyaki sauce, divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    freshly grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • ·
    salt/pepper, to taste
  • 1 c
    fresh pineapples (you can also use canned)

How to Make Grilled Teriyaki Ginger Chicken With Pineapples

Step-by-Step

  1. Pierce the chicken breast.
  2. Marinate at least 30 mins with half of the teriyaki sauce as well as grated ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add in the canola oil.
  4. Grill chicken about 5 mins each side (depending on the thickness... the thinner, the better). Also grill the pineapples.
  5. Place the chicken in an oven dish.
  6. Pour the other half of the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
  7. Top with sesame seeds and grilled pineapples. Keep warm in oven until ready to serve. Serve over white rice. Delicious!
