Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup jarred sweet and sour sauce, such as la choy.
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon jarred minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 6 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts, or thighs.

How To Make ginger-sesame bbq chicken.

  • Step 1
    In small saucepan, combine all ingredients except for chicken. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often. reduce heat, simmer, covered for 3 min. Rinse chicken, pat dry. Heat grill for medium heat over indirect grilling. Place chicken on grill. Grill for 15 min, turn, grill until no longer pink, about 15 min, brushing w/ sauce the last 5 min of grill time. Heat remaining sauce until bubbly. Serve extra sauce w/ chicken.
