Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    dijon mustard
  • 1/4 c
    coarse ground mustard
  • 1/4 c
    apple juice
  • 2 clove
    garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 c
    fresh soft bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pkg
    powdered cheese from kraft mac and cheese (this is a secret ingredient)
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 6-8
    bonless skinless chicken breasts

How to Make Gayle's Easy Mustard Parmesan Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Line a 13"X9" baking dish with heavy duty foil (this makes clean up awesome!
  3. place a wire rack over the top of the pan
  4. in a shallow dish mix mustard, apple juice, garlic and 2TBLS melted butter
  5. in another shallow dish mix, bread crumbs (I used 3 slices of potato bread pulsed into crumbs with my minifood processor)pamesan cheese, kraft powdered cheese, salt, pepper, basil and 3 TBLS melted butter. Toss until well mixed.
  6. Coat chicken with mustard mix then roll in the bread and cheese mixture until thoroughly coated.
  7. place on rack and bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
