Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup coarse ground mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups fresh soft bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 package powdered cheese from kraft mac and cheese (this is a secret ingredient)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 6-8 - bonless skinless chicken breasts

How To Make gayle's easy mustard parmesan chicken

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Step 2
    Line a 13"X9" baking dish with heavy duty foil (this makes clean up awesome!
  • Step 3
    place a wire rack over the top of the pan
  • Step 4
    in a shallow dish mix mustard, apple juice, garlic and 2TBLS melted butter
  • Step 5
    in another shallow dish mix, bread crumbs (I used 3 slices of potato bread pulsed into crumbs with my minifood processor)pamesan cheese, kraft powdered cheese, salt, pepper, basil and 3 TBLS melted butter. Toss until well mixed.
  • Step 6
    Coat chicken with mustard mix then roll in the bread and cheese mixture until thoroughly coated.
  • Step 7
    place on rack and bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
