My husband and I love a really good salad so I came up with this one night just to be different.
This is my way of having chicken salad. He thought all he was getting a sandwich.

  • 1 lb
    chicken tenders
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/4 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Garlic/Butter Chicken tenders w/fresh salad


  1. In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat add butter, olive oil and garlic. Stir constantly until garlic is lightly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Prepare chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Add to butter, olive oil and garlic. Cook 5 to 6 minutes until browned, turn and brown over side (about 3 minutes).
  3. Place your favorite salad in the center of a serving plate and arrange chicken tenders around salad. Top with your favorite toppings.
  4. This recipe is very flexible. Depending on the number of chicken tenders per person.
