This is as close as I can tell you how I make mine, I use the "sounds right" method of when to turn my chickens and when to take out! You can more wings or less if you want. Dress with hot sauce, wing sauce or just as they are! Taste like chicken good for the whole family!!!

1 dozen
frozen chicken wings
1 Tbsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
onion powder
beer, your choice
2 c
apple cider vinegar
1 tsp
fresh ground black pepper
1/2 c
smoke salt
1/2 c
brown sugar
water to cover


1 c
1/4 c
seasoning salt

How to Make Fried Chicken Wings


  • 1In a bowl big enough to hold them, put in frozen chicken wings
  • 2Add salt, pepper, sugar, onion and garlic powder vinegar and beer and cover with water
  • 3Allow to sit in brine for at least 4 hours
  • 4Take out and pat dry and drop into a bag containing flour cornmeal and season salt, shake well
  • 5Heat oil to 350 in a large cast iron skillet,reduce heat to Medium slowly place each wing into oil and cook 3 min per side, then 2-3 min per side again. Remove and let cool slightly on paper towel
