Ingredients
- 5 quarts water
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 large green pepper diced or sliced up
- 1 large onion yellow dice or sliced up
- 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley
- 5 sticks carrots, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 bunch celery tops add some of the stalk too sliced or dice up
- 1 large chicken parts use - back, neck wings & giblets
How To Make fran's chicken soup

Step 1Slice up Onion, Pepper, & Chicken parts ( not the giblets they will be removed later) Put everything into a large soup pot, cover with water. Cook for one hour. Strain & serve with cooked thin noodles or rice.
