Found this recipe through Pinterest. What's better than Jambalaya that cooks itself? Great flavor. Shrimp (raw) can be added if desired in the last half hour of cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut up in small pieces
  • 1 pound andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 can 28oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 - large onion, chopped
  • 1 - large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup instant rice

How To Make easy jambalaya in the crockpot

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients except rice in slow cooker. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours
