When Turkey goes on sale (Nov and Dec)I make this potpie with leftovers, and freeze them, for easy pre-made lunches.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cubed chicken or turkey
  • 15 ounces can veg-all, or you can use 1 bag frozen veggies
  • 10 3/4 ounces can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 - premade pie crust

How To Make easy chicken potpie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, veggies, and cream of chicken soup.
  • Step 2
    Place a pie crust in a deep dish pie pan. Smooth to fit. Pour in chicken mixture. Top with other pie crust. Crimp around edges to seal. Cut three slits into crust in the middle
  • Step 3
    Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    If you are making the pies to be frozen. I have found that it is best to cut the slits before freezing. Then I wrap the pies in plastic wrap. Pies can be baked frozen, just allow extra cooking time.
