Easy Chicken Marsala

This tastes as good as any restaurant; and is very easy!

You can use a good quality Marsala wine of your choice. I find that I like it better with the sweeter kind.

chicken cutlets, pounded thin
1/2 c
2 tsp
butter (do not use margarine)
2 c
thinly sliced mushrooms
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 1/2 c
marsala wine (i use a good sweet kind from the wine section)
1 Tbsp
chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Easy Chicken Marsala


  • 1Dredge the cutlets in flour; shake off excess.
  • 2melt butter and sautee the mushrooms until browned. Remove from pan once they are browned.
  • 3Add olive oil and heat until very hot. Sautee the chicken until it is white throughout.
  • 4Add the marsala and simmer about 3 minutes.
  • 5Add mushrooms back in, parsley, salt and pepper.
  • 6Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
