This is a great-tasting, easy recipe for luncheons and parties. Wonderful on sub rolls, croissants, or on crackers as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup minced white or yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup dill relish
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • 1 cup white seedless grapes, quartered
  • - salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make dill chicken salad

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken into thin strips. Heat olive oil in large skillet, and add chicken and celery seed. Cook until no longer pink, abt 10 minutes. Remove from pan and allow to cool. Process cooked chicken in food processer to shred.
  • Step 2
    Put chicken in a large bowl. Stir in minced onion, mayonnaise, dill and sweet relishes, grapes, and salt and pepper. Mix well and chill for 2 hours. I prefer to serve this cold.
