With the thousands of ways to prepare chicken breasts, savory flavors like honey and Dijon mustard will always remain among my favorites.

This recipe is just a simple twist on traditional Honey Dijon Chicken, with the added crunch coating of Panko bread crumbs. I like to serve it with broccoli and cheese and wild rice.

Ingredients

3 to 4
organic boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 Tbsp
good dijon mustard
2 Tbsp
raw honey
4 Tbsp
butter, organic
2/3 c
panko bread crumbs

How to Make Dijon Crunch Tender Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix Dijon mustard and honey to make a sauce.
  • 2Rinse chicken breasts and place in baking dish. Pour the sauce over chicken breasts to coat them.
  • 3Melt butter in microwave and stir in bread crumbs.
  • 4Sprinkle bread crumb and butter mixture over chicken breasts. With a fork, press crumbs lightly against the sauce-coated chicken breasts. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes (depending on thickness) until breasts are done.
  • 5Serve chicken breasts with wild rice and broccoli with cheese.
