Found this in a low fat cookbook and it sounds really good

  • 1
    4 lb chicken skinless and cut up
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 can(s)
    12 oz lt. beer
  • 1/3 c
    chili sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4 c
    hot cooked noodles
  • 1 pkg
    10 oz. tiny peas thawed

How to Make Devilishly Spicy Chicken


  1. sautee onion in butter in a large frying pan or dutch oven
  2. add mustard, beer, worchestershire sauce, chili sauce. stir well. add chicken pieces. turn to coat. do this over a medium heat
  3. reduce heat and cover simmering 20 minutes
  4. turn each piece of meat and continue simmering until meat is fork tender ( make sure breast meat is done)
  5. remove chicken pieces and keep warm. keep sauce simmering uncovered, until it reduces and thickens (about 6 to 8 minutes)
  6. add peas to sauce and heat thru.
  7. plate up hot noodles on individual plates, topping with chicken pieces and covering with some sauce
  8. per serving, around 461 calories
