I love BBQ chicken but where I live - grilling isn't always convenient. In the winter, it's too cold and during the summer it's just too hot so when I get that craving this is my turn-to recipe.

3-6 large
boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 bottle
bbq sauce (18 oz)
1/4 c
1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Tbsp
crushed red pepper
1 tsp
garlic powder

How to Make Crockpot BBQ Chicken

  • 1Place chicken in crockpot. (I throw mine in frozen and it works amazingly. You don't even need to break them apart!)
  • 2Mix BBQ sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and garlic together in a separate bowl. (Make sure brown sugar is fully blended.)
  • 3Pour BBQ mixture over chicken, making sure to coat the chicken evenly.
  • 4Replace lid and cook on high for 6 hours. (If using thawed chicken reduce time to 4 hours so as not to burn the chicken.)
