I get 2 cup covered containers from the dollar store. This recipe will fill 7 of them. I have Chihuahua's (2) and one container yields 2 meals per dog. I make enough for the week and freeze some.

Ingredients

3 pounds chicken thighs and legs
1 can diced carrots or 1 cup fresh carrots, diced
1 can diced potatoes or 1 cup fresh potatoes, diced
1 cup rice, white or brown
1 can chicken or turkey gravey
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon parsley
1 tablespoon onion flakes

How To Make crock pot chicken stew recipe for spoiled puppies

Step 1

Boil all of the chicken, cool, then remove all of the skin and bones. Cut chicken into small pieces.

Step 2

Put the de-boned chicken in the crock pot followed by carrots, potatoes, gravy and spices. Put the rice in and add 1 cup of water to the mix.
Step 3

Mix well. Set on low for 4 hours. Stir well and put in covered containers.
