1This crust is the same as my Deep Dish Pizza Pie recipe for dough, just spread the dough out onto a flat pizza pan instead of a deep dish pan. Dough recipe here: Deep Dish Pizza (MRD Style)
HOWEVER: Feel free to use prepared pizza dough to save time and make this in about 30 minutes.
In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Saute garlic in the butter for 1 minute (until garlic is tender). Stir in flour, blending until smooth. Gradually add the half and half, stirring constantly. Stir in cheese and parsley. Heat until sauce is thickened and smooth.
Put sauce on the pizza dough and evenly put the rest of the ingredients on top:
1. light layer of cheese
2. chicken and veggies
3. layer of as much cheese as you like
4. sprinkle on the paprika and basil
