I made up this recipe and delivered it to a very dear friend to raise her spirits the day she received some devastating health news.

16 oz
whole wheat pasta, uncooked
3 c
cooked and diced chicken
2 stalk(s)
sliced celery
1 medium
diced onion
1/4 tsp
dill dried weed
1/2 tsp
seasoning salt
1 tsp
chicken soup base
1 tsp
garlic and herb seasoning
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
6 oz
top the tater sour cream
3/4 c
shredded medium cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
2 c
frozen vegetable (i used peas & carrots)

How to Make Creamy Chicken Pasta Bake


  • 1Brown onion and celery in olive oil.
  • 2Add pasta to boiling water with all herb and spice ingredients. Cook just to the tender point. Add vegetables.
  • 3Combine all ingredients but cheese. Divide into two casserole dishes. Freeze one.

    Cover and bake at 350 for 45-50 min. Top with cheese and bake uncovered for 10 min.
