This recipe graces our table for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and New Years....

  • 2 1/4 oz
    gelatin, unflavored
  • 1/2 c
    water, cold
  • 1/2 c
    water, cold
  • 1 14 oz
    canned, whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 14 oz
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    icing sugar/powdered sugar



  1. Sprinkle the gelatin over the first amount of water in a small saucepan...Let stand 1 minute...Heat and stir until dissolved...
  2. Add: the second amount of water....Pour into a medium bowl...

    Stir in the remaining ingredients...Chill, stirring and scraping down sides often, until it shows signs of thickening....
  3. Pour into a 6 cup mold...and Chill....This serves 8 - 10
