This recipe graces our table for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and New Years....

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 ounces gelatin, unflavored
  • 1/2 cup water, cold
  • 1/2 cup water, cold
  • 1 14 ounces canned, whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 14 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar/powdered sugar

How To Make cranberry mold

  • Step 1
    Sprinkle the gelatin over the first amount of water in a small saucepan...Let stand 1 minute...Heat and stir until dissolved...
  • Step 2
    Add: the second amount of water....Pour into a medium bowl... Stir in the remaining ingredients...Chill, stirring and scraping down sides often, until it shows signs of thickening....
  • Step 3
    Pour into a 6 cup mold...and Chill....This serves 8 - 10
