This dish is really elegant. This is totally yummy and comes from Rita Boyer, a co worker of my sister, Sherry. You can't have too many recipies for chicken. You can easily double, triple or however many you need for this.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons parmesean cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • - wine sauce
  • - remaining butter
  • 1/4 cup white wine (i like chardonnay)
  • 1/4 cup scallions chopped, green parts too
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

How To Make country style chicken kiev

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
    melt butter.
  • Step 3
    Combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt.
  • Step 4
    Dip chicken in butter, then roll in crumbs. Reserve butter
  • Step 5
    Place chicken in oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes,or until tender.
  • Step 6
    Menwhile add wine, green onions, and parsley to butter. Probably have about 1/2 cup.
  • Step 7
    When chicken is golden brown, pour sauce over and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes,or until sauce is hot.
