- 1/2 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried whole basil
- 1 teaspoon dried whole oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 - chicken breast halves
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chablis or other dry white wine
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
How To Make country style chicken kiev

Step 1Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt, and salt in a small bowl; stir well. Dip the chicken in 1/4 cup butter; dredge in the breadcrumb mixture. Place the chicken, skin side up, in an ungreased 9 inch square baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes or until the chicken is done.

Step 2Combine 1/2 cup melted butter, wine, green onions, and chopped parsley in a small bowl; stir well. Pour the wine mixture over the chicken.

Step 3Bake an additional 5 minutes or until the sauce is thoroughly heated.
