chicken wings in greek sauce

I wrote this recipe thinking of the time, when I was at the mall eating my favorite Greek sandwich. I loved it so much, that I decided to blend the flavors together for this dish. It turned out to be very light and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cucumber peeled/diced
  • 1 sprig fresh dill
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup black greek olives pitted/chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon black olive brine
  • 1 tablespoon greek seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 5 pounds raw chicken wings

How To Make chicken wings in greek sauce

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven at 375 degrees for 15 mins. Spray your baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and place wings. Salt/pepper to taste. Bake for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
    Add yogurt in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Add remaining ingredients into a blender. Process until thoroughly blended. Combine contents to the yogurt and mix by using a spoon or wire whisk.
  • Step 4
    Coat cooked wings in sauce and serve.
