I got this recipe from one of my Aunts. She brought this dish over after my Father's funeral. I have made it several times over the years and have shared it with family and friends. It's a big hit!

Ingredients

  • ·
    broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, carrots, or preferred vegetables, cooked
  • 1 lb
    chicken
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • ·
    milk
  • ·
    shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Chicken Vegetable Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook chicken and cut into pieces (bite-sized).
  2. Layer vegetables in a 13 x 9 pan.
  3. Layer chicken pieces over vegetables.
  4. Mix can of mushroom soup with 1/3 soup can of milk and pour over the top of the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over top of casserole. Bake at 375º for approximately ½ hour. Let set 5 minutes and serve.
