This chicken dish is quite different than the traditional Chicken Tetrazzini.It is delicious and worth making.

Ingredients

  • 3 - chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 cup italian salad dressing
  • 8 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can condensed cream of ,undiludedchicken soup
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli florets,thawed
  • 1(8oz) package low fat cream cheese,cubed
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1/2 cup water
  • - olive oil, extra virgin for fry
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make chicken tetrazzini my way (in a crock pot)

  • Step 1
    Sprinkle the chicken with spices and fry on oil until light brown. Add dressing and pour to the crock pot slow cooker. Cook for 1 hour on high.
  • Step 2
    Fry the one cup of onion and mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, soup, water, cream cheese and sherry.
  • Step 3
    Transfer the mushroom and onion mixture to the chicken in the slow cooker and cook for 2-3 hours.Serve with noodles or over rice.
