Ingredients

    chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 c
    italian salad dressing
  • 8 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of ,undiludedchicken soup
  • 1 bag(s)
    frozen broccoli florets,thawed
  • 1(8oz) pkg
    low fat cream cheese,cubed
  • 1/4 c
    sherry
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • ·
    olive oil, extra virgin for fry
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Chicken Tetrazzini My Way (in a crock pot)

Step-by-Step

  1. Sprinkle the chicken with spices and fry on oil until light brown. Add dressing and pour to the crock pot slow cooker. Cook for 1 hour on high.
  2. Fry the one cup of onion and mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, soup, water, cream cheese and sherry.
  3. Transfer the mushroom and onion mixture to the chicken in the slow cooker and cook for 2-3 hours.Serve with noodles or over rice.
