Ingredients

2/3 c
light sour cream
2 Tbsp
canned chopped mild green chilies, drained
2 Tbsp
chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
hot pepper sauce
12 medium
taco shells, warmed
4 c
cooked, chopped chicken (taco seasoning to taste)
3/4 c
shredded mexican cheese
1/2 c
lettuce (i use fesh spinach)
2 small
tomatoes, chopped

How to Make Chicken Tacos with Salsa Verde Cream

Step-by-Step

  • 1Comine the sour cream, chiles, cilantro, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • 2Put oil in a frying pan and ├žook chopped chicken in taco seasoning to taste.
  • 3Fill the taco shells with equal amounts of chicken, cheese, lettuce/spinach and tomato; top with 2 tablessons of sour cream mixture.
