Ingredients

  • 2/3 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    canned chopped mild green chilies, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 12 medium
    taco shells, warmed
  • 4 c
    cooked, chopped chicken (taco seasoning to taste)
  • 3/4 c
    shredded mexican cheese
  • 1/2 c
    lettuce (i use fesh spinach)
  • 2 small
    tomatoes, chopped

How to Make Chicken Tacos with Salsa Verde Cream

Step-by-Step

  1. Comine the sour cream, chiles, cilantro, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Put oil in a frying pan and çook chopped chicken in taco seasoning to taste.
  3. Fill the taco shells with equal amounts of chicken, cheese, lettuce/spinach and tomato; top with 2 tablessons of sour cream mixture.
