This is very good. You can make it spicier or milder, depending on the salsa, chiles, and cheese you choose. It is also versatile, as you can make it either in a skillet or in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 4 - boneless skinless chicken breast
  • - - salt and pepper
  • - - garlic powder
  • 1 - onion, diced
  • 1 - green bell pepper,diced
  • 1 can black olives, sliced
  • 1 can green chiles
  • 1 jar salsa
  • - water
  • 1 cup mexican blend shredded cheese

How To Make chicken salsa

  • Step 1
    Salt and pepper both sides of the chicken breasts, and add garlic powder. Put in Skillet or baking pan
  • Step 2
    Top with onion, green pepper, sliced black olives, green chiles, and the jar of salsa. Add water if needed.
  • Step 3
    Cook for about 1- 1/2 hours on top of stove or in oven at 350 degrees. After 1 1/2 hours or when cooked through, add shredded cheese (any kind you like).
  • Step 4
    Cover and cook another 20 minutes till cheese is melted.
