Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red curry paste,optional
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced small
- 1/4 cup sweet onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup green apple, diced small
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 6 - croissants
- 6 - leaves of boston or butter lettuce
- 4 ounces wisconsin havarti, sliced or dill havarti (my favorite)
How To Make chicken salad sandwich with havarti cheese

Step 1In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, curry paste and basil until well blended. Add chicken, onion, apple and almonds; season with salt and pepper; mix well . Refrigerate until ready to use. Split croissants. Place lettuce, chicken salad and Havarti cheese on the bottom half of croissant. Place second half on top. Enjoy!!
