I decided to try a good chicken recipe and this one gets two thumbs up. I leave the skin on the chicken and use regular cream of mushroom soup and regular sour cream.I serve over broad and hearty egg noodles

chicken drumsticks and thighs, skin removed (about 4 each)
1 can(s)
(10 3/4 oz) 25% less- sodium cream of mushroom soup
2 Tbsp
1/2 c
nonfat sour cream

How to Make Chicken Paprikash


  • 1Place chicken in 3 1/2 qt. or larger slow cooker.
  • 2Stir mushroom soup and paprika in small bowl until blended. Pour over chicken to cover.
  • 3Cover and cook on low setting 8-10 hours until chicken is tender (almost falling off the bone).
  • 4Remove chicken with slotted spoon to serving platter.
    Whisk sour cream into cooking liquid. Serve sauce over chicken.

    *I serve over broad egg noodles
