Ingredients

    chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    chicken bouillon
  • 2 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 6 oz
    non fat greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    low fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 c
    egg noodles, uncooked
  • 4 c
    water, for cooking egg noodles

How to Make Chicken Paprikash

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet, brown chicken chunks in olive oil. Once, browned remove chicken from skillet.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the same skillet and saute for about 5 minutes
  3. Add in water, bouillon, paprika, and chicken. Cook on low until chicken is done.
  4. While chicken is simmering, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add in egg noodles, and cook for 6 minutes.
  5. Once chicken is cooked through, remove skillet from heat and pour in yogurt and sour cream. Adjust seasonings to taste. Add in drained, cooked egg noodles and let simmer for two minutes.
