Ingredients
- 2 chicken legs (thighs and drums attached)
- salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 1 bay leaves
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 lime juice and zest
- parsley, for garnish
How To Make chicken marylands - mushroom and onion cream sauce

Step 1Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Add the butter to a pan large enough to hold the chicken. Brown the chicken in the butter, 5 minutes each side. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside.

Step 2Add the onion, mushrooms, and garlic to the pan. Cook until mushrooms have given up their moisture. Add the chicken stock, rosemary sprigs and bay leaves. Add the chicken back. Cover and cook 10 more minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

Step 3Remove the chicken to a plate. Remove the rosemary sprigs and bay leaf. Stir in the heavy cream, lime juice, and lime zest. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Serve with chicken.
