I love slowcooking in the fall & winter. I freeze leftovers in (generous!) single serving microwaveable containers for quick lunches or suppers. Jim(my hubby) really likes this one! I'll put up a foto as soon as I figure out how!!!

Ingredients For chicken harvest stew

3 to 4 lbchicken, cooked and cut into bite-sized chunks

1 canchicken broth, low salt

2 canfavorite beer
-
8 ozfresh baby carrots

8 ozfresh or frozen wax beans

8 ozfresh or frozen sweet corn

1 mdyellow crooked neck squash pealed and chunked,

1 mdchopped onion
-
8 ozfresh sliced mushrooms

2 Tbspminced garlic
-
1/2 csugar-free maple syrup
-
2 Tbspliquid smoke flavoring

2 Tbspsage, dried

1 lgpeeled, cored and chopped red apple

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

fresh ground black pepper to taste
How To Make chicken harvest stew

1Put all ingredients in large slowcooker on high for @ 3 hours.

2Reduce to low and cook for another 2 hours.

3Turn slowcooker to warm and serve with buttered bread slices when ready to eat. Enjoy!
