chicken harvest stew
I love slowcooking in the fall & winter. I freeze leftovers in (generous!) single serving microwaveable containers for quick lunches or suppers. Jim(my hubby) really likes this one! I'll put up a foto as soon as I figure out how!!!

Ingredients
- 3 to 4 pounds chicken, cooked and cut into bite-sized chunks
- 1 can chicken broth, low salt
- 2 cans favorite beer
- 8 ounces fresh baby carrots
- 8 ounces fresh or frozen wax beans
- 8 ounces fresh or frozen sweet corn
- 1 medium yellow crooked neck squash pealed and chunked,
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 8 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 tablespoons sage, dried
- 1 large peeled, cored and chopped red apple
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- - fresh ground black pepper to taste
How To Make chicken harvest stew

Step 1Put all ingredients in large slowcooker on high for @ 3 hours.

Step 2Reduce to low and cook for another 2 hours.

Step 3Turn slowcooker to warm and serve with buttered bread slices when ready to eat. Enjoy!
