Ingredients

16 oz
chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless, cut into bite size pieces ( boneless thighs are also good)
1 Tbsp
olive oil
2 c
brown rice, cooked
2 Tbsp
soy sauce, low sodium
3 tsp
chinese five spice powder
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
red pepper flakes (optional)
1 c
frozen peas, thawed
1 c
pineapple tidbits, drained

How to Make Chicken Fried Rice

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oil in medium skillet.
  • 2Add chicken and cook over medium heat until cooked through and juices run clear.
  • 3Add Brown rice, spices, 5 spice, soy sauce, and peas, heat for 2-4 mins.
  • 4Add pinapple and allow to heat through.
