I recieved this recipe from a neighbor while stationed in the Republic of Panama Back in the 1980's. It's a easy economical recipe.

Ingredients For chicken enchiladas

  • 1
    chicken, cooked and deboned
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 4 oz
    can diced green chili's
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 c
    sour cream

How To Make chicken enchiladas

  • 1
    Saute: Onion and green chilies.
  • 2
    Mix: Onion, chilies, cream of chicken soup, water and sour cream.

    Bake: Put layer of chicken in 9x13 in pan. Pour soup mixture over chicken. Grate cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Serve: Over tortilla chips.
