Ingredients
- 10 sticks celery ribs sliced
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4oz cans mushroom sliced drained
- 7oz cans water chestnuts drained
- 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 10oz cans chicken broth, condensed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
How To Make chicken chow mein

Step 1In a large pot, saute celery in oil for about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Step 2Add bean sprouts, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and chicken.

Step 3In a large bowl, blend cornstarch with water. When smooth, add chicken broth and soy sauce to bowl. Mix well and pour over meat and vegetables.

Step 4Bring to a boil, stirring until sauce thickens.

Step 5Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
