My Mother In-Law taught me this recipe. She makes it all the time and her family loves it.

Ingredients

10 stick
celery ribs sliced
1 Tbsp
canola oil
1 c
bean sprouts
4oz can(s)
mushroom sliced drained
7oz can(s)
water chestnuts drained
2 c
cooked chicken shredded
3 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/4 c
water
10oz can(s)
chicken broth, condensed
1/4 c
soy sauce

Step-By-Step

1In a large pot, saute celery in oil for about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
2Add bean sprouts, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and chicken.
3In a large bowl, blend cornstarch with water. When smooth, add chicken broth and soy sauce to bowl. Mix well and pour over meat and vegetables.
4Bring to a boil, stirring until sauce thickens.
5Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
