This is so good and easy. Put it on in the morning before going to work and it's ready when you get home. Simply cook the spaghetti, add a salad and some garlic bread and enjoy. I love to use my crock pot even now that I've retired.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1 can 15-oz. chicken broth
  • 2 cans 14-1/2 oz. diced italian tomatoes
  • 4 cups mushrooms, fresh, cut in half
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make chicken cacciatore (crock pot)

  • Step 1
    Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Cut into serving size pieces and place in crock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Place lid on and cook on low 7-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours.
  • Step 2
    Serve over Hot buttered spaghetti. Serve with Grated Parmesan Cheese.
